Bell Crack...the Tournament That Loves You Back.
A 2-day throwdown at the Brandywine Polo Fields.
You like your Ultimate wit or witout?
Â
ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS AT THESE FIELDS.
This rule is in place because million-dollar horses use these fields (when we're not), and we cannot risk any debris/glass being left on the fields.
Sorry, but, violations will result in your team being disqualified from the tournament.
A couple of quick updates test:
(1) As you can see, registration is open. Register! :)
(2) The proceeds from Bell Crack go directly to support PADA's youth outreach (YO) program. The PADA YO program strives to build relationships with underserved communities by running ultimate clinics for children at local recreational centers. It's a great program: last year, we reached over 300 elementary, middle, and high school students. We hope to expand that even further this year.
(3) The gender ratio at Bell Crack will be a 4 men/3 women. If both captains agree, then it can be 4/3 or 3/4, offense decides.
(4) Just like last year, we'll be asking teams to bring a $100 deposit check to the tournament. We hope that this check will help remind teams to pick up after themselves. Assuming there are no problems, we'll rip up your check after the tournament. We didn't have any problems last year.
Bell Crack Co-ed Classic is back again this year, with room for between 30 and 32 teams. More information should be available in the coming weeks. Registration is open. The registration deadline is April 20th, 2009. However, register
ASAP because it is first come, first served! You will be put on a
waitlist if you register after we have 32 teams.
The TD's are back and ready to provide you, the Co-ed consumer, with a high-quality, fun, amenity filled event. For $350 you should expect fruit, water, bagels, pizza after the games, and unbelievably flat and beautiful fields. We hope to continue to draw some high level competition to this event along with folks that are out to have both a great time and a great learning experience.
We have room for up to 32 teams, and to a degree, the number of teams will dictate the format.
In order to determine what exactly we're going to do we need to start hearing from teams. Please contact bellcracktd (at) gmail (dot) com to notify the TD's of your teams interest and to get first crack at registration.
As many of you know, our sister tournament, PADA Mosh, filled up quickly in the fall so you should put in your interest ASAP.
Please feel free to contact the TDs with any questions or comments you might have.
