Thanks to the nearly 80 (wow!) people who came out today to play Ultimate and support an awesome charity. We raised a ton of money for the Lupus Foundation, and, fueled by a beautiful day of perfect weather, had a great time doing it. Congrats to the Joe Ford squad for going 3-0 and winning the tourney.

Does anyone have pictures of the clubhouse from a time when it was looking really good?  Perhaps freshly painted?

I'm applying for a Pepsi Refresh grant for a few clubhouse projects.  We can use pictures to encourage people to vote for us.

Our Philly squad (Bruce K, Chris O'Connor, McKay, Doug, Adam, Spicer, Bosher, Tom B, Curtis, to name a few) beat Pat's (including Sean Smith, Naco, Joe Ford, etc.) in the semis 15-10 or so.

Brooklyn took the finals.  We were down a few breaks and spent our last gasp getting to 12-11, losing 15-13ish, even stealing Jim Coyne from the other Philly squad.

Thanks, PADA, for helping us have a great tournament.  Thanks also to TDs Sean Smith and Bruce Kuo for their efforts in organizing such a fun and spirited tourney.  Mark Hauser and Carl Davies worked the grill, Brian A and Big Rick helped with kegs.  We had a lot of people helping out and everyone had a great time.

As always, we made our guests jealous of our amazing set-up in Fairmount Park.

I should have pix of the Showcase game up sometime soon (with SL A Finals shots in that queue).
